Neapolitan Pizza-maker for one day is a "Pizza Class" designed to let tourists of all ages visiting Naples know and live the art of Neapolitan Pizza-maker, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. A fascinating journey into the history and culture of the True Neapolitan P ...other... izza that aims to let participants live the experience of being a pizza maker for one day.
The participants, after having tasted a good coffee, led by one of our Maestro Pizzaiolo, will leave their everyday clothes to become pizza-makers with a personalized apron, they will talk about the "right" ingredients, they will male the dough themselves to understand the right consistency, they will learn how to stretch the dough and, after having seasoned it with tomato, buffalo mozzarella from Campania, basil and olive oil, they will be ready to put it in the wood-fired oven, according to tradition.
In the end, as Neapolitan conviviality demands, they will taste, followed by a drink, their own pizza!
The participants will have as a memory of the fantastic experience their work apron, a personal Certificate of Attendance and the Friends of Vera Pizza Card.
Neapolitan Pizzaiolo for one day will be held, on reservation, every day from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00 at the school of the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, in Via Capodimonte 19 / A.
